Questions families ask
Which children do you take?
Children in kindergarten through grade 5, ages 5 to 11. We collect from two elementary schools nearby; if your child's school isn't one of them, a family member can bring your child to our door by 3:30 p.m.
How does the walk from school work?
Two staff members meet each school's group at the door, check names against the day's list and walk the same route to our front door.
What if school lets out early or is closed?
On early-dismissal days we open at dismissal and walk at the same time. When the schools are closed, we are closed.
Who may pick up my child?
Adults on your authorized list, with photo ID the first time we meet them. Change the list by calling or texting before 2 p.m.
Is there help with homework?
A staff member sits at each homework table. Children who finish early read, draw or play a quiet game, and when your child needs help with something, we leave a note in the folder.
How does tuition work?
It depends on how many afternoons a week your child comes, and we go through the figures with you at the tour.
How do I hold a place, and is there a waitlist?
A place is held once you register and pay the first month. If a plan is full, you join the waitlist in the order you asked, and Muna calls when a place opens.
What about allergies and medicine?
Tell us about allergies when you tour; we ask what we need privately once you enroll. Medicine is given only with your written permission.
Can a friend join my child's group?
Tell us which children are friends from the same class, and we place them together when we can.
