Family policies

We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.

A backpack and a water bottle. In winter, a hat, gloves and boots for the walk, and indoor shoes for the gym. Label whatever comes off.

We walk from the schools, so pickup is here at the front table, any time from 4:30 p.m. until we close at 6 p.m. A child leaves only with an adult on your authorized list, who signs the sheet. We ask for photo ID from anyone we haven't met. Change the list by calling or texting before 2 p.m.

If you are delayed, call or text before 6 p.m. and a staff member stays with your child until you arrive. How late pickup is billed is in your registration packet, and Muna will call if it becomes a pattern.

A child with a fever, vomiting or a contagious rash stays home until they have been well for a full day. If a child becomes ill here, we call the first person on your list and a staff member stays close until you arrive.

Snack opens every afternoon: fruit, crackers or cheese, with water. Dinner is not served. Tell us about allergies at the tour; we ask privately once you enroll.

When the schools close, we close. On early-dismissal days we open at dismissal. If the schools close for snow, we close too, and we text families that morning.

Children do not use phones or tablets during the afternoon. A child who brings a phone keeps it switched off in the backpack, and if you need your child, call us and we will bring them to the phone.

We ask for two weeks' written notice before a child leaves or changes days, so another family can have the place. Tell us at the front table or by phone.
